Call Vivi supports HIPAA-compliant call handling, scheduling, and messaging workflows.
Key HIPAA Highlights
• Built for doctors, therapists, dentists, PT clinics, med spas, and other covered entities.
• Telephony provided through HIPAA-eligible Twilio services under a Business Associate
Agreement (BAA).
• End-to-end encryption for call handling and data transfer within the HIPAA architecture.
• No call recordings or transcripts are stored by default for HIPAA clients, unless explicitly
enabled with secure storage.
• Minimal PHI stored only when necessary for scheduling, intake, or call routing—always in
encrypted, HIPAA-eligible infrastructure.
• Patients continue to use the practice’s existing phone number; calls are simply forwarded
to a secure Vivi number.
Phone Numbers & Call Forwarding
Call Vivi assigns each practice its own secure phone number (a Twilio number covered under
our BAA). The practice does not need to change its public-facing number. Instead, they simply
forward their existing main line to their dedicated Vivi number. This preserves all business
cards, websites, Google Business listings, and referral materials while allowing the AI front
desk to answer every call.
